STUDIO II

Big Bad Sound Studio II was designed and built by Steven Klein (Criterea One, Studio 606, Larabee) and is centered around our 24-channel SSL AWS900 console and PMC 6-2 monitor system. Aesthetically  reminiscent of the 1960's with the classic acoustic tiled walls and checkerboard floor with modern accents in a naturally finished birch and turquoise fabric. Studio II was built with a modern production workflow in mind. Our spacious control room allows for multiple producers and musicians to work together with easily accessible mic and DI inputs. The live room was designed to have an even but open sound, and records much larger than meets the eye. The isolation booth provides a fun contrast with tapestry lined walls and Christmas lights. Studio II can handle everything from full live band productions to ADR/VO, mixing, overdubs and everything in between.
